The Take-Off
As a regular business traveller, I’m forever dealing with the draining effects of jetlag, changes in diet, uncomfortable flights and a plethora of other stresses to my body and mind. Desperate to find a solution, in 2011, I signed up for the Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) course, in the hope it might help me to make small improvements to my travel routines and rigours. I was staggered by the results!

The Journey
Seven years later, meditation and mindfulness are an integral part of my life and I have emphatically embraced the benefits it has brought to my business abroad. I am an accredited Awareness Coach with the Centre for Mindful Living and a qualified Mindfulness and Compassion teacher with Mindfulness UK.

The Destination
My mission is to help all people who, like me, work in a fast-paced environment, and are looking to improve their energy levels, become more resilient, present and content. Trip Unwind is my project to bring mindfulness and wellbeing to the travel industry and all those involved in it.

I’m both an associate of London Meditation and a certified Awareness Coach. At the moment, I am well on my way to becoming an MBSR facilitator and a Mindfulness Teacher

Weekly Mindfulness Sessions

Mindfulness Workshops
Trip Unwind provides valuable Mindfulness Workshops for companies. Workshops can last between 2 hours to a full day and normally include a talk on the origin and benefits of mindfulness, some useful practices and feedback time.
Participants will be given tips on how to introduce mindfulness in their everyday life and a handout with all of the information needed to help them keep practicing!

Mindfulness Retreats
Trip Unwind offers the opportunity to get participants started with this amazing practice or to further explore it by leading mindfulness retreats across the country and abroad.
Trip Unwind is partnering with other Wellbeing providers, including qualified nutritionists and yoga teachers, to craft weekends where participants can truly rest, recharge and restore.
Our retreats allow participants to learn how to be present, clear their minds, nurture themselves and possibly achieve a true perspective on their lives and businesses.

Mindfulness To Work Course
This 8-week course is specifically created for business travellers and all those people working within the travel industry. The course aims at tackling stress factors and helps travel professionals to improve their work performance, regain focus and become more resilient. The Course can be tailor made according to companies and individual needs as it can be run in a group or one-to-one.
